Jakarta, Indonesia | 22 July 2026 The World Student Christian Federation Asia-Pacific (WSCF AP) was honored to welcome Rev. Grace Moon, the newly appointed General Secretary of the Christian Conference of Asia (CCA), to the Regional Office in Jakarta for her first official courtesy visit. The meeting reaffirmed the longstanding partnership between WSCF AP and CCA while strengthening their shared commitment to ecumenical collaboration, justice, peace, and the flourishing of communities across the Asia-Pacific region.
Rev. Grace Moon was warmly welcomed by Yowanda Yonggara, Regional Executive and Global Program Director of WSCF AP, together with Arinta Gita Maharani, Regional Finance and Administration Officer. The visit provided an opportunity for both organizations to exchange updates on their ongoing ministries, reflect on shared priorities, and discuss future avenues for cooperation in advancing the ecumenical movement across the region.
Throughout the meeting, conversations highlighted the importance of deepening partnerships that empower Student Christian Movements (SCMs), churches, and ecumenical organizations to respond faithfully to the complex realities facing Asia-Pacific today. Both WSCF AP and CCA reaffirmed the significance of accompanying young people, strengthening ecumenical leadership, and promoting justice, peace, inclusion, and human dignity through collaborative witness and action.
As one of WSCF AP’s longstanding ecumenical partners, the Christian Conference of Asia has played a vital role in supporting initiatives that foster regional solidarity, leadership development, and prophetic engagement with contemporary social issues. The visit served as a meaningful opportunity to celebrate this enduring relationship while looking ahead to new possibilities for collaboration in the years to come.
